Sustainable Design
The skin stapler handle and lever:
- Renewable bio-based material
- Reduces CO2e
- Plastic reduction by weight
- Free of intentionally added BPA or BPA-derived plastics, mercury, phthalates, and PVC
- PFAS-free
The handle and lever are made with FSC certified wood fibers and compostable biopolymers. Claims are based on weight when compared to a similar leading product made with plastic. Reductions are validated through NewGen Surgical’s Small Change, Big Impact (SCBI) EPP Program. Bio-based material percentage is tested and verified through the USDA BioPreferred Program; contact NewGen Surgical for additional information.
