Last week we attended and exhibited at CleanMed – the premier conference for accelerating sustainability across the entire healthcare sector. In its twelfth year, CleanMed attracted more than one thousand people from across the country and around the world, including representatives from hospitals, healthcare systems, group purchasing organizations, food service directors and healthcare architects and designers, as well as companies that supply products and services to the healthcare sector. In the four years we’ve attended, exhibiting in the last two, we’ve seen a tremendous increase in the number of attendees, as well as the interest in sustainable products.

In our second year to exhibit, we demonstrated how our sustainably designed medical devices and surgical products can help attendees interested in impacting their green bottom line through Greening the OR (GOR) efforts.

“It’s incredibly important we go to CleanMed. It allows us to hear directly from our customers – healthcare sustainability leaders, hospitals and healthcare systems, and group purchasing organizations – about how we can best meet their needs, fulfill environmentally preferable purchasing goals, and GOR initiatives,” said Rob Chase.

These days, healthcare leaders across the country are improving the bottom line and delivering better outcomes — for patients and staff alike—by using healthier products.
