Rob Chase, president and founder of NewGen Surgical, will be a panelist at the 2020 MD&M West Conference at the Anaheim Convention Center in California from February 11-13th. The two-part panel discussion on Sustainability, Environmental Responsibility and the Medical Device Community will address the question “What can the medical device community do to alleviate pressure on the environment, promote sustainability, and reduce the impact?”
“Designing products that can be sustainably manufactured, deliver clinical performance, and reduce its end of life impact is the design challenge”, Rob explains. “At MD&M West, we have opportunity to collaborate with suppliers and industry experts working towards making healthcare more environmentally friendly.”
This 3-day conference is the world’s largest medical design and manufacturing event where engineers and executives connect to change the lives of their patients. The conference covers med-tech, 3D printing, and smart manufacturing. Attendees will meet experts leading the charge in healthcare’s biggest disrupters including novel materials, surgical robotics and digital health.
There will be 1,900+ suppliers in attendance across five complementary industries – medtech, plastics, automation, packaging, and design. The event includes expert-led sessions, exhibits on the latest end-product technology at the new MD&M Innovation Lab, and networking activities dedicated to the hottest topics in medical device design and manufacturing.
