“Where All of Ophthalmology Meets” AAO 2023

CEO and Co-Founder of NewGen Surgical, Robert Chase, attended the annual AAO (American Academy of Ophthalmology) conference at Moscone Center in San Francisco from November 3-6.

AAO is the world’s largest association of eye physicians and surgeons, with a global community of 32,000 medical doctors. The conference brings together more than 14,000 ophthalmologists and health professionals across the world to learn and network with one another.

NewGen Surgical has worked closely with the ophthalmology field this past year to create their latest products, plant-based surgical compartment trays, where they collaborated with leading ophthalmologists and health systems to bring sustainable ophthalmology products to the market. NewGen Surgical joined EyeSustain, a global coalition of eye societies, organizations, and ophthalmologists collaborating to make ophthalmic care and surgery more sustainable, at AAO to discuss how NewGen Surgical products address the concerns of many ophthalmologists alike.
