Once again, NewGen Surgical will be an active participant at CleanMed, the premier national conference for leaders in healthcare sustainability.
“Every year we look forward to interacting directly with our customers and other sustainability leaders at CleanMed,” said Rob Chase, NewGen Surgical Founder and President. “With everyone focused on reducing carbon emissions in healthcare, I am excited to share that this year we will be able to provide the embedded CO2e associated with the feedstock of our products and how this can help decrease the Scope 3 metrics in a hospital’s supply chain.”
“We will have a couple of announcements leading up to the event this year,” shared Carol Summers, Director of Product Marketing and Programs. “We always get repeat visitors to see what is new from NewGen Surgical each year. Between an update about our Small Change, Big Impact EPP program and the plastic waste reduced by our customers, and our new products that will eliminate a significant amount of plastic waste, sustainability leaders should be very pleased.”
CleanMed 2019, hosted by Practice Greenhealth, will be taking place in Nashville, Tennessee, at the Omni Nashville Hotel, May 7th-9th. Attendees sharing and seeking information on best practices about Sustainable Procurement, Greening the OR, and Safer Chemicals should visit us at Booth #211 to learn how NewGen Surgical’s sustainably designed surgical products can help support greener operations.
