An accomplished cardiothoracic surgeon and leader in the field, Dr. Régal served as a consultant for major medical manufacturers on product/prototype (re)development and evangelized products via medical conferences. Dr. Regal’s vast experience spans not only being a top-rated cardiothoracic surgeon but experience in the business arena where she advised companies on pre-launch and designed protocols for FDA approved clinical trials. As the Medical Director, Dr. Régal sits on the Medical and Environmental Advisory, assisting with new product development and innovations of clinically effective products designed to minimize plastic waste in the operating room. Dr. Régal, a graduate of Boston University School of Medicine, has been in practice for more than 20 years. Her residencies include Stanford University, SUNY Upstate Medical University, and Albert Einstein College of Medicine at the Jacobi Medical Center. Dr. Régal was also a fellow of cardio-thoracic surgery at the SUNY Upstate Medical University and Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
