Dr. Mohammad Diab, Chief of Pediatric Orthopedics at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco, Joins NewGen Surgical Medical Advisory

As a pioneer in the field of spinal growth modulation, Dr. Diab will be an integral part of new product development and innovation in his role as Medical Advisor for NewGen Surgical.

Dr. Diab is Chief of Pediatric Orthopedics at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco. Dr. Diab earned his medical degree from Stanford University and completed his pediatric orthopedic surgical training at Harvard University. He is a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Pediatrics, and holds a Haile T. Debas Chair in Medical Education at UCSF.

Dr. Diab will join other prominent members of the NewGen Surgical Medical Advisory, which currently comprises of Dr. Anne-Marie Regal, Medical Director, and founding member Dr. Barry Gardiner, a pioneer of laparoscopy in general surgery. The NewGen Surgical Sustainability Advisory includes Dr. Ann Blake, a thought leader in chemicals policy reform, and Daniella Russo, the Founder and CEO of Think Beyond Plastic and Co-founder of the Plastic Pollution Coalition.
