NewGen Surgical, Inc. to Exhibit at Think Beyond Plastic Innovation Showcase in Washington D.C

February 19, 2015 – San Rafael, California – NewGen Surgical, Inc., has been invited to participate in Think Beyond Plastic’s Innovation Showcase on March 16, 2015 at the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington, D.C. The theme will be addressing plastic use and its impact on the environment and the oceans through innovation and entrepreneurship.
The one day event will highlight over twenty companies that offer products and technologies that work towards the health of the ocean in important ways by reducing disposable plastic, reducing toxic chemicals, introducing new materials and manufacturing. There will be a panel discussion, “The role of government in supporting innovation and entrepreneurship that addresses the Ocean.”The Capital Hill Innovation Showcase is being hosted by Think Beyond Plastic with special guests Rep. S. Farr (D-CA), Rep. M. Honda (D-CA), Rep. Young (R-AK), and other members of the Senate Ocean Caucus and the Congressional Ocean Caucus attending.
